These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of contentPhD ("contentPhD", "we", "us"), a content analysis and rewriting service. By creating an account or using contentPhD, you agree to these Terms.
contentPhD analyzes content you submit against the STEPPS framework and generates rewritten and platform-specific versions of it, using third-party AI models. Output is generated automatically and is provided as a drafting aid — you are responsible for reviewing and editing anything before you publish it.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for activity that happens under it. Keep your password secure and tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.
contentPhD offers a free plan with a limited number of scans and rewrites per month, and a paid Pro plan billed monthly. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time from your account's billing page — cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current billing period unless required by law.
You agree not to use contentPhD to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
You retain ownership of the content you submit and the rewritten output contentPhD generates for you. To provide the service, you grant us a licence to process your submitted content — including sending it to third-party AI providers (see our Privacy Policy) — solely to generate your results. We do not use your submitted content to train AI models.
contentPhD relies on third-party providers to operate, including Anthropic (AI processing), Stripe (payments), Supabase (accounts and data storage), and Resend (transactional email). Your use of contentPhD is also subject to the availability of these providers.
contentPhD is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated scores and rewrites are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or to achieve any particular result. To the maximum extent permitted by law, contentPhD is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.
You may stop using contentPhD and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the service, with reasonable notice where practical.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll let you know by email or in-app notice before they take effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
